From Rockets to Roses to Shelters....

From Rockets

Over 12,000 rockets have been fired into southern Israel in the last 8 years, deliberately targeting Israeli civilians, causing chaos, destruction and death. An entire generation of children has been traumatized by the terror of ongoing rocket attacks. Yet the Goldstone Report claims that Israel is the aggressor.

to roses

Hand sculpted roses created from actual Kassam rockets that landed in Israel. Living symbols of Israel’s perseverance in the face of terror. Yaron Bob, an Israeli artist living in the shadow of terror, has found his way of transforming objects of destruction into expressions of peace and hope for the future. A magnificent rose with a mission.

to shelters

Nearly one million residents of Israel are within striking range of rockets from Gaza. With only 15 seconds to find cover, lives are in jeopardy. Israel desparately needs more shelters to protect its citizens. A minimum of $50 from each rose purchased will be donated to Operation Lifeshield to build more shelters.

Father of Daniel Pearl concerned 7 years after son's death

0

Those around the world who mourned for Danny in 2002 genuinely hoped that Danny's murder would be a turning point in the history of man's inhumanity to man, and that the targeting of innocents to transmit political messages would quickly become, like slavery and human sacrifice, an embarrassing relic of a bygone era.

But somehow, barbarism, often cloaked in the language of "resistance," has gained acceptance in the most elite circles of our society. The words "war on terror" cannot be uttered today without fear of offense. Civilized society, so it seems, is so numbed by violence that it has lost its gift to be disgusted by evil. (...)

Danny's picture is hanging just in front of me, his warm smile as reassuring as ever. But I find it hard to look him straight in the eyes and say: You did not die in vain.

Food for Gaza

"(...) when rockets aren't being shot, Gazans get aid. It is as simple as that, and these facts are documented. Those "peace activists" who pretend to care about Gazans and yet stay silent about the rockets care neither about Gazan lives nor about peace."
